Apple crisp
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 3/4 c
- cinnamon to taste - 1 item
- sliced apples - 1 qt
How to make apple crisp:
Place apples in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish and pour 1/2 cup of water over apples. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon (you may wish to add a little sugar to apples if they are sour). Mix together 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup flour and butter. Blend until crumbly. Add pecans and spread over apples. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until top is brown.
