Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- water - 1/4 c
- soft butter - 1/3 c
- sliced, pared apples - 4 c
How to make apple crisp:
Heat oven to 350°. Spread apples evenly in an 8 x 8-inch square or 9-inch round baking dish/pan. Sprinkle with water, cinnamon and salt mixture. Toss lightly. Mix sugar, flour and butter with a pastry blender until crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake at 350°, uncovered, about 40 minutes.
