Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- almond - 1/2 tsp
- 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
- apples, blueberries, peaches or plums can be frozen fruit - 1 item
How to make apple cake:
Cream butter; add sugar, eggs, baking powder and flour. Mix well, then add vanilla and almond. Spread in greased 9-inch ring pan. Put foil under pan so it does not leak. Place on top of batter apples or blueberries, plums and peaches. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake plums at 400° for 40 minutes and other at 350° for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.Note: This cake can be frozen uncooked with fruit.
