Apple cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 2 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• chopped apples - 4 c
• plus 1 tsp - 1/2 c

How to make apple cake:

Sift together first 4 ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, break eggs over chopped apples. Stir lightly. Add sugar, vanilla, nuts and oil. Stir well. Add dry ingredients to this mixture gradually. Pour in a large, greased baking pan. Bake over 1 hour until done in a 325° oven. Raisins could be added. Use a 9 x 13 pan.
