  • butter, softened - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • medium apples, peeled and diced - 3 item

How to make apple cake:

Combine all ingredients except apples in large bowl. Add peeled, diced apples to mixture and mix again. Spread evenly into ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
