  • sugar - 5 Tbsp
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • unsifted flour - 3 c
  • orange juice - 1/3 c
  • salt optional - 1/2 tsp
  • or 6 apples - 5 item

How to make apple cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Thinly slice peeled apples and coat with 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Coat well. Mix all other ingredients together in separate bowl. Mix well. Grease and flour tube pan. Alternate layers of batter and apples. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
