Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 6 c
- water - 2 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- molasses - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 2 c
- yeast with 1/2 c - 1 pkg
How to make anadama bread:
Bring to a boil water and then stir in oatmeal. Add molasses, oil and salt. Add alternately yeast mixture and flour. Knead 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down. Shape loaves. Let rise one hour. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Makes two loaves.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Vegetarian.
