sugar - 1 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour
butter - 1 c
oil - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
powdered sugar - 1 c
cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make amish sugar cookies:

Blend sugar, butter and oil. Add eggs and beat well again. Add vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add to first ingredients; mix well. Drop small balls of dough in granulated sugar. Put on baking sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 8 dozen.

Note: You might need more flour.
