7-up salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- bananas, sliced - 2 item
- whipped topping - 1 c
- 7-Up - 2 c
- large can crushed pineapple, drained save juice - 1 item
- Add 7-Up, crushed pineapple and bananas
How to make 7-up salad:
Mix boiling water and lemon jello until dissolved. Add 7-Up, crushed pineapple and bananas. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and chill until firm.Topping:1 c. pineapple juice (add water if not enough juice)1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. butter2 Tbsp. flour1 egg, well beaten1 c. flaked coconut1/2 c. chopped nuts1 c. whipped topping Cook all except coconut, nuts and whipped topping until thick.
