15 bean soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- tomatoes - 1 pt
- pod hot pepper - 1 item
- 15 bean soup mix - 2 c
- ham hocks or 4 beef bouillon cubes some of each is better - 2 item
- salt use less if bouillon cubes are used
How to make 15 bean soup:
Wash soup mix and place in large pot. Cover with water 2 inches above beans. Soak overnight; drain. Add 2 quarts of water, ham hocks, salt, pepper and bouillon cubes.
