Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• shortening - 1 c
• self-rising flour - 3 c

How to make 1-2-3-4 cake:

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Mix until fluffy. Add flour and milk, alternating with vanilla. Bake in layers at 350° for 25 minutes. Makes 3 larger layers or 8 small. Frost with favorite frosting.
