World's best sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 c
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 5 c
• oil - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• powdered sugar - 1 c
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make world's best sugar cookies:

Cream the butter with powdered and granulated sugar. Beat in eggs until smooth. Slowly stir in remaining ingredients. Chill dough for easy handling. Shape into walnut size balls. Dip in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart. Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
