Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream the oil, butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Stir and blend. Roll a teaspoon of dough into ball. Press down on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press with glass dipped in sugar. Bake about 12 minutes in a 375° oven.
