White fruit cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- flour - 4 c
- butter
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- nuts - 1 qt
- pineapple candied - 1 lb
- cherries candied - 1 lb
- fruit juice orange - 1/2 c
How to make white fruit cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and then add 1/2 cup fruit juice, alternately with dry ingredients. Last add fruit and nuts which have been rolled in extra 1/2 cup flour. Bake in slow oven about 200° for about 4 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, North american.
