Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- 8 oz
- garlic powder - 2 tsp
- cans chicken broth - 2 1/2
- ground cumin - 2 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground coriander - 2 tsp
- ground oregano - 2 tsp
- medium white onion - 1 item
- cans chicken, drained - 2 oz
How to make white chili:
In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion; saute until brown. In a large stockpot, add onions and next 7 ingredients; stir until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chili, Tex Mex.
