  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 c
  • pistachio instant pudding mix - 1 pkg
  • 9-inch container Cool Whip - 1 item

How to make watergate salad:

Mix pudding mix and Cool Whip together. Stir until pudding is completely dissolved. Add pineapple juice and all other remaining ingredients. Let set about 1 hour and serve.

Optional: For decoration, stir in some maraschino cherries (dry off as much of juice as possible).
