  • eggs - 3 item
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1 c
  • white cake mix - 1 item
  • 7-Up soda - 1 c
  • box instant pistachio pudding mix - 1 item

How to make watergate cake:

Combine all ingredients in one mixing bowl. Mix well. Pour into greased baking dish (pan) and bake in 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting: Combine 1 box of instant pistachio pudding and 1 bowl Cool Whip into a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth. Ice cake and enjoy! If icing seems too thin, let set for a while and pudding will thicken the icing.
