  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oleo - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • shredded cheese - 1/4 c
  • melted oleo - 1/4 c
  • pie shell - 1 item
  • saltine cracker crumbs - 1 c
  • thinly sliced Vidalia onions

How to make vidalia onion pie:

Combine cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup oleo together. Saute onions and 2 tablespoons of oleo until tender, but not browned. Put onions into the pie shell. Combine next 4 ingredients; mix well and pour over the onions. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve immediately in pie shaped servings.
