Vidalia onion casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, grated - 1 c
- large Vidalia onions - 3 item
- to 12 saltine crackers - 10 item
How to make vidalia onion casserole:
Slice onions and pull apart. Saute onions in 3/4 stick butter until soft. Crush crackers into crumbs. Remove onions from pan. Add remaining butter. Place the cracker crumbs in the pan until coated with butter. Layer onions, crumbs and cheese in a casserole dish. Finish with crumbs on top. Sprinkle milk over top.
