- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- pecans - 1 c
- vanilla wafers - 4 c
- can coconut - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick butter
- small can pineapple, drained - 1 item
How to make vanilla wafer cake:
Icing:1 stick butter1 small can pineapple, drained1 lb. powdered sugar Cake: Cream sugar and butter; add eggs. Mix crumbs and baking powder. Add to butter and sugar mixture alternately with milk and vanilla. Fold in coconut and pecans. Pour in 3 (8-inch) greased and floured pans. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Icing: Cream butter and sugar; add pineapple and beat to spreading consistency. Spread on top of 3 layers only.
