Unstuffed cabbage

- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- lean ground beef - 12 oz
- can crushed tomatoes - 1 28
- distilled white vinegar - 1 tbsp
- green cabbage
- packed lite brown sugar - 1 tbsp
How to make unstuffed cabbage:
Cook beef and onion over medium heat (5-6 minutes), stirring often until beef is browned. Drain. Quarter and core the cabbage, cut cross-wise into inch wide strips, add to meat mixture, cover and cook over medium heat 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage wilts. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
