Turtle cake
Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
- sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
- bag caramels - 1 item
How to make turtle cake:
Mix together 2 cups cake mix, 2/3 cup melted margarine and 2/3 cup milk. Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.While this is baking, melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk. Take cake out of oven. Spread caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle on nuts and chocolate chips. Mix remaining cake mix with 2/3 cup margarine and 2/3 cup milk. Mix well and spread over nuts, chips and caramels. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
