  • salt - 2 tsp
  • hot water - 4 tsp
  • paprika - 3 tsp
  • peanut oil - 1 c
  • turkey - 1 item

How to make turkey in a sack:

Dissolve salt and paprika in water and mix with oil. Rub turkey inside and out with mixture. Take remaining mixture and pour into large brown paper grocery sack. Use additional oil if necessary to cover entire inside of sack. Place turkey into sack. Fold open end tightly closed; staple. Cook at 350° allowing 10 minutes per pound of turkey. The turkey will be a nice golden brown and not dry and completely done if cooked as directed.
