Tuna noodle casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- 5 oz
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- toasted, slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- chopped canned pimiento - 1/4 c
- sharp shredded Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
- cooked, drained medium noodles 3 c - 6 oz
How to make tuna noodle casserole:
Combine first 8 ingredients in medium bowl. Blend soup and milk in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cheese and heat and stir until cheese melts. Add cheese mixture to noodle mixture. Turn into 2-quart casserole. Top with almonds. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Tuna.
