Tomato pie
Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise
- basil - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- shredded cheddar
- shredded mozzarella
- 9-inch pastry shell
- Tomato slices enough to fill 3/4 depth of the shell
How to make tomato pie:
Precook-cook pastry shell. Fill shell 3/4 full with tomatoes. Sprinkle with basil. Mix together mayonnaise and cheeses. Add salt and pepper. Pile on top of tomatoes.Bake 350° for 30-40 minutes until golden.
