Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 6 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- soft butter - 1/2 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- nut meats - 1/2 c
- Beat in egg
How to make toll house cupcakes:
Combine and beat until creamy butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg. Sift together and stir in flour, soda and salt. Spoon by rounded tablespoonful into paper lined 2 1/2-inch muffin tins. Remove from oven and put 1 tablespoon of topping on each cupcake. Return to oven and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.Topping:1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar1 egg1/8 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. vanilla1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle semi-sweet morsels1/2 c. nut meats Combine in bowl brown sugar, egg, salt and vanilla; beat until very thick. Stir in semi-sweet morsels and nut meats.
