Toasted butter pecan cake

- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter
- evaporated milk - 4 6
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- sifted flour - 3 c
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt
How to make toasted butter pecan cake:
Toast pecans in 1/4 cup butter at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well. Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Stir in vanilla and 1 1/3 cups pecans. Bake in 3 (8 or 9-inch) pans at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Frosting:1/4 c. butter1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla4 to 6 Tbsp. evaporated milk Cream butter and powdered sugar.
