Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • confectioners sugar - 3/4 c

How to make thumbprint cookies:

Combine ingredients. Save 1/2 cup nuts. Chill for 1 hour. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in nuts. Place on ungreased sheets. Press thumb in center of each. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Fill thumbprints with jam or jelly.
