Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- confectioners sugar - 3/4 c
How to make thumbprint cookies:
Combine ingredients. Save 1/2 cup nuts. Chill for 1 hour. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in nuts. Place on ungreased sheets. Press thumb in center of each. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Fill thumbprints with jam or jelly.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
