Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 2/3 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- egg whites, lightly beaten - 2 item
- nuts walnuts or pecans - 1/2 c
How to make thumbprint cookies:
Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, salt and flour. Roll into 1-inch balls. Dip in egg whites. Roll in nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Make thumbprint. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
