- sugar - 3 c
- chopped pecans - 1 qt
- butter - 1 lb
- eggs, separated - 7 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- cake flour - 5 c
- lemon extract - 2 Tbsp
- whiskey - 4 Tbsp
- candied cherries - 1 lb
How to make texas pecan cake:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks. Gradually add flour, soda and fruit which has been dredged in part of flour. Add other ingredients. Lightly fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in tube pan, lightly greased and lined with wax paperRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
