- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 pkg
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- stick soft oleo or butter - 1 item
How to make chess squares:
Mix the cake mix, oleo or butter, 1 egg and vanilla. Spread into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Work from center and spread crust across pan. Have sides higher around edge. Beat together the cream cheese, 3 eggs and powdered sugar. Pour into crust. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 375°, or until brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
