  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • chili powder
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • onion, chopped - 1 c
  • dried oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • crushed red pepper - 1/2 item
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • can pinto beans, drained - 1 1/2
  • stewing beef, cubed - 2 lb
  • pickled jalapeno peppers, chopped - 2 item

How to make texas chili:

In a large heavy pan, heat oil, and brown beef cubes on all sides. Add onions, bell pepper and garlic. Fry them with beef for about 5 minutes. Add all the remaining ingredients except beans, and simmer the chili for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is ten
