Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- chopped pimento - 4 oz
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- Zesty Italian dressing - 8 oz
- cooked, drained black-eyed peas - 4 c
How to make texas caviar:
Drain excess clear oil from dressing. Mix peas, onions, bell pepper and pimento. Add dressing, then salt and pepper. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Serve at room temperature.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Salads, Tex Mex.
