  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz
  • cider vinegar - 2 tsp
  • crushed pineapple, drained - 8 oz
  • unsalted peanuts - 1 c
  • peeled and diced Delicious apples - 4 c

How to make taffy apple salad:

Combine flour, sugar, pineapple juice, egg and vinegar in small pan; cook until thickened and cool. Fold Cool Whip, apples, pineapple and 2/3 cup nuts into the cooled mixture. Spread remaining nuts on top.
