Ingredients/Components

  • water - 3/4 c
  • chopped onions - 2 Tbsp
  • tomato paste - 3/4 c
  • Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
  • taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
  • chopped bell peppers - 2 Tbsp
  • instant bouillon - 1 Tbsp
  • canned biscuits or crescent rolls - 8 10
  • ground turkey or ground round - 1 lb

How to make taco pie:

Press biscuits into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Brown turkey. Add onions, bell peppers and the remaining ingredients, except cheese; mix well. Pour 1/2 of the turkey mixture on semi-baked crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese. Add remaining turkey; top with remaining cheese. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
