Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- cottage cheese - 2 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- parsley - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 6 oz
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- onions, chopped - 1/4 c
- mushrooms - 1/2 c
- lasagne noodles - 8 oz
How to make lasagne:
Brown beef; add tomato paste, tomato sauce, mushrooms, onions, garlic, basil, parsley, salt, oregano, pepper and water. Simmer 1 hour. Cook lasagne noodles. Prepare filling by combining cottage cheese, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl. Alternate layers of lasagne noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and cheese in a 13 x 9-inch pan (3 layers high). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cool 10 minutes and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
