Ingredients/Components
- dairy sour cream
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 2 4
- sliced green onions - 3/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 1
- taco sauce - 3 Tbsp
- large tomato, chopped - 1 item
- can spicy chili beans - 1 oz
- coarsely broken tortilla chips - 2 c
How to make taco casserole:
Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain. Add beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Heat to boiling.Put chips in ungreased 2-quart casserole or 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with ground beef mixture. Spread sour cream on top. Sprinkle with green onions, tomato and cheese. Cook, uncovered, in a 350° oven until hot and bubbly, about 20 to 30 minutes.
