  • dairy sour cream
  • garlic salt - 1 tsp
  • chili powder - 2 4
  • sliced green onions - 3/4 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 1
  • taco sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • large tomato, chopped - 1 item
  • can spicy chili beans - 1 oz
  • coarsely broken tortilla chips - 2 c

How to make taco casserole:

Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain. Add beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Heat to boiling.

Put chips in ungreased 2-quart casserole or 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with ground beef mixture. Spread sour cream on top. Sprinkle with green onions, tomato and cheese. Cook, uncovered, in a 350° oven until hot and bubbly, about 20 to 30 minutes.
