  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cream cheese - 1 pkg
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • maraschino cherries - 12 item
  • crushed pineapple - 2 c
  • maraschino cherry juice - 2 Tbsp
  • gelatin, dissolved in 1/4 c

How to make sweetheart salad:

Place pineapple and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. Turn off, then add gelatin, lemon juice, cherries, cherry juice and cream cheese, cut into pieces. Stir together. Place in refrigerator until it is set but not real stiff. Whip the cream to soft
