Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • heavy cream - 1/3 c
  • stick melted butter - 1/2 item
  • pie shells - 1 item
  • potatoes medium to large - 6 item

How to make sweet potato pie:

Boil potatoes until soft. Peel potatoes (works well under cold, running water). Mash potatoes well until lumps are out. Add butter and sugar to hot potatoes. Add remaining ingredients. Beat briefly until well mixed. Pour into prebaked frozen pie shells. Cook at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
