Sweet dill pickles
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- tarragon wine vinegar - 1 c
- pickling spice - 3 Tbsp
- gallon jar whole dill pickles - 1 item
- sliced onions may be added - 1 item
How to make sweet dill pickles:
Drain juice off into a large container. Cut cucumbers into slices. Add 5 pounds sugar, vinegar, pickling spice; and onions to vinegar and heat until sugar is dissolved. Stir several times.
