Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 3 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1/4 c
  • ketchup - 1/4 c
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • can chunk pineapple in juice - 1 oz
  • green pepper strips - 1/2 c
  • carrot strips - 1 c
  • boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes - 1 lb

How to make sweet and sour chicken:

Brown chicken in hot oil. Add peppers, carrots and garlic; cook and stir. Mix soy sauce, pineapple and juice, vinegar, sugar, ginger, ketchup and cornstarch. Bring to a full boil. Pour over chicken. Mix well.
