Swedish sugar cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- raisins
- shortening Crisco - 1 c
How to make swedish sugar cookies:
Boil raisins in water until almost dry. Beat sugar, shortening, vanilla, eggs and salt well. Add raisins. Add flour and soda. Mix well. (Add more flour if necessary; sometimes it will take more if raisins are wetter.) Make small balls of dough. Roll in sugar.
