Super spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1 c
- catsup - 1/3 c
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- bacon, crisp and crumbled - 1/2 lb
- fresh bean sprouts, washed and drained - 2 c
- Dressing:1 tsp
- bunches fresh spinach, washed, dried and torn - 3 item
- water chestnuts, sliced I use 2 cans - 1 c
- to 6 hard-cooked eggs, chopped finely - 4 item
How to make super spinach salad:
Combine the ingredients.Dressing:1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/2 c. cider vinegar1/3 c. catsup1 medium onion, finely chopped1 c. salad oil2 tsp. salt1/4 c. sugar Put dressing into a jar and spoon onto salad. Sprinkle bacon and egg on top before serving. You will have dressing left over; refrigerate.Recipe categories: Salads, Spinach, Greens.
