Sunshine salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/3 c
- pkg - 3 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated carrots - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- hot water - 1 c
- 2 can 2 1/2 c
How to make sunshine salad:
Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup hot water. Drain pineapple; reserve syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin with vinegar and salt. Chill until partially set. Fold pineapple, grated carrot and pecans into gelatin. Turn into a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch pan. Chill until firm.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
