Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- ground chuck - 2 lb
- Morton Tender Quick cure salt - 2 Tbsp
How to make summer sausage:
Mix together; shape into firm roll. Wrap in Saran Wrap; refrigerate overnight. Place in a cooking bag that has around 1 tablespoon flour in bottom. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Remove wrap and cool.
