  • sugar - 2 c
  • milk - 4 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • oleo - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • lemon flavor - 2 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Blend the oleo, salt, nutmeg and lemon flavoring. Add sugar gradually; cream well. Add eggs and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and soda; mix well. Drop with teaspoon; flatten with glass covered with damp cloth dipped in sugar. Bake at 375°.
