  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • boiling water
  • bananas - 2 item
  • strawberry gelatin - 2 (3
  • can of pineapple tidbits, juice and all - 15 oz

How to make strawberry surprise salad:

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries and stir until thawed. Add pineapple tidbits and juice; slice bananas into gelatin. Add nuts. Pour half of gelatin mixture into 8-inch square baking dish. Chill until firm. Spread sour cream over chilled gelatin and pour remaining gelatin over sour cream. Chill until firm and cut into squares; serve on lettuce leaf. Serves 9.
