  • butter flavor Crisco - 6 Tbsp

How to make strawberry shortcake:

In large bowl blend together flour and baking powder. Add shortening; cut in with pastry blender or 2 knives. Add milk and sugar, mix well. Generously grease square baking pan. Pat mixture flat on bottom. Bake 25 minutes at 350°.Topping:2 qt. fresh strawberries1 c. sugar Clean and mash strawberries and add sugar. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
