Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- strawberries - 3 c
- pie shells - 2 item
- large stalks rhubarb - 3 item
- large box strawberry gelatin - 1 item
How to make strawberry-rhubarb pie:
Dice 2 to 3 large stalks rhubarb. Place in large saucepan with about 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil and add 1 cup sugar. Cook rhubarb to mush, then add 1 large box strawberry gelatin. Bring to a boil. Add 3 cups of sliced, fresh strawberries. Remove from heat immediately. Stir thoroughly. Pour into 2 cooked pie shells. Let cool and refrigerate.
