Strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• egg whites - 3 item
• frozen strawberries
• pecans, coarsely chopped - 1 c
• Ritz crackers, broken into small pieces - 23 item
• Fold in rest of ingredients

How to make strawberry pie:

Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar and continue beating until well mixed. Fold in rest of ingredients. Bake in well-greased deep pie plate for 30 minutes at 350°. Let cool thoroughly. This can be made the day before. If made the same day, ample time must be allowed for proper cooling.Pie Filling:1 c. whipping cream2 Tbsp. sugar1 large pkg. frozen strawberries Whip cream until stiff. Add sugar and beat until well mixed. Fold in strawberries. Pour into cold pie crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
